Some of the Medgate gang at the conference
Last week, some of the Medgate team participated in the NAEM EHS Software Data Management conference in Houston. It was well attended, with many EHS industry experts as well as companies searching for EHS software solutions in attendance. This conference is always the best opportunity to meet with the leading solutions providers in one place and to hear from fellow users who manage these systems on a daily basis.
One of the factors that differentiates this conference from others is that many of the presenters are from companies who are using EHS software rather than the EHS software providers themselves. These EHS professionals presented their journey of selection and implementation alongside some of the challenges they faced and benefits they reaped from implementing a particular software solution. Sharing these experiences is quite useful for those conference attendees who are looking to purchase and implement EHS software.
Adam Pearson from Toyota did a great job in his presentation, highlighting both Toyota’s experience implementing Medgate and some of the specific ways their EHS department uses Medgate. He demonstrated a number of Medgate’s modules, and was able to share some of the data insights and lessons learned through Toyota’s partnership with Medgate.
His recap of what made Medgate an especially great partner, besides the great product, was the EHS subject matter expertise of the Medgate team and their responsiveness to Toyota’s suggestions for software enhancements.
