Safety incentive programs are a common method of increasing employee engagement with a safety management system.
However, many safety professionals have concerns that OSHA does not approve of incentive programs. Others go so far as to believe that OSHA has handed out citations for the mere presence of a safety incentive program. The truth of the matter, however, is quite different.
