What is total worker health?

It’s policies, programs, and practices that integrate protection from work-related safety and health hazards with promotion of injury and illness prevention efforts to advance worker well-being. This means that total worker health is all about incorporating factors into EHS which are outside the scope of task related hazards, such as wages, work-life balance, access to health food options, interactions with coworkers, access to paid leave, and more.
